I'm Back...well sort of!

Hey Y'all I am back and better than ever! I guess I haven't had much to say, but I think I haven't been saying the right things. I don't like to talk about myself much and hate going on about the little one or my husband. It feels to bragish for me. So I have another blog I have started that is everything that I do love to talk about. Which is:
Baking, Cooking (yes there is a difference). Sewing, Crocheting, Crafting, and how to be be a super fabulous Girlie Girl in our dominating world!!! come on over and see what I have to say. Let me know if you agree or disagree with my thoughts or share a recipe or two.

Okay I get it. I am really rather bad at this whole blogging thing. Sorry. I haven't had anything fabulous to share. EXCEPT Sydney!!! She's getting so big and smart. I know I am her mom and I am biased, but her vocabulary is ridiculous. For a 17 month old she is a chatter box. She is awesome.

Jeremy has been crazy busy with work and baseball. He is trying to get all of his kids ready for their seasons. He has been working with some of them for like 5 years and it is so awesome to see him talk about the growth that the kids have made.

Jeremy is coaching a team this year for the Marshall Gates Foundation. I think that it is mostly high school seniors. It is an awesome opportunity for really great kids to get seen on a high level, they take a few road trips to colleges, and meet up with scouts during the season. It is such a great place to showcase the players. Any way that Jeremy can be involved and give back to the game that helped shape him into the person. I am excited for Sydney to see her Daddy being a part of something that he really loves. After all it is the American past time.

Halloween Party

Last night we went to my Mom's church Halloween Party. Sydney didn't want to wear her costume, but she wore her pretty Halloween bow (even though she tried to ditch it a thousand times or so..) I think that Sandi had the best costume :)

Grandma was a farmer..... Ava said that Grandpa could be her horse if Grandma was the farmer.

Me & Sweets... she looks just like me right? Identical other than the Doritos Cheese ring around her mouth.

Finally the little ones got to have a good time & play on the floor. Don't you love their costumes? Yes she was a lady bug and Nolly was Scooby Doo....I have learned that 1 year olds are not into dressing up quite yet!

They had a lot more fun at Grandma's house when they got to empty the "lid drawer". Grandma says that this was a favorite past time of mine when I was her age.

Thanks Grandma!!

The Big One!

She's So Big!!!

Sydney had her first birthday on October 24th. She is so big. Here are a few pics from her birthday party...

She smashed the cake pretty well. I don't think that she like having the frosting on her little fingers though. I wiped her up as well as I could, I thought she would be good to go until I took her out of her highchair and there was chocolate cake covering both of her legs. It was awesome. I raced her to the bathroom and we had a quick bath & wardrobe change... then she was ready to rock!

Sydney loves to play with her cousins! They were all there in full effect: Kadisen, Keaten, Ava, Nolan & Kynley! Ava was being very helpful and opening up gifts for Sydney.
I think that Sydney was pretty entertained with the wrapping paper & tissue paper. Her Handy Manny tool set was a big hit with all of the kids!!! The tool box sings and the tools bounce up and down. Also as you can see the tools come out of the box too!
The party went great, everyone was so generous. We have the best family and friends that anyone could ask for. We are so lucky!

Sydney Jolee Lambert
October 24, 2007
7lbs. 5oz
21" long

It has been 364 days since I had Sydney. She is the best thing we have ever done. So here are some pics to remind all of us what happened 364 days ago.... Yes, that is me and my chins.
Jeremy was so awesome during the preganancy. He is such a phenomenal daddy. He is amazing to see with Sydney. He is a great Daddy!
It has been so cool to watch her become this little person.... to ask her what a cow says...and her push out her little lips and "mooo"....when she kisses tigger...when she loves on Peanut, Rocky & Doozer ...her smile in the mornings....and her big (wet) kisses.
She is awesome. We absolutly adore her.

Silly Pants!!!!

She found the drawers and she loves them. I tried at first to put all of the towels back, but she is having a great time. Oh well things can be neat & tidy another day! Sydney is so funny....I just laugh at her. I can't help it she is hilarious.
